COVID-19

An update from the team at Butterfly Beauty

Dear Clients,

We hope you and your loved ones are keeping well at this time. We are delighted to inform you that after over 12 weeks closure we are aiming to be reopening the salon on Wednesday 8th July (following government approval.) Whilst we are excited to get back to doing what we love, we wanted to let you know that in order to re-open under the context of COVID-19 , we have made some changes to the way we will be operating with your health and safety as a top priority. The first thing we have changed is our protocols and standards in hygiene. You will notice that as a result of this, your salon experience will be different from previous visits.

What will change?

  • You will no longer be asked to sit in our waiting area. We have staggered appointments to ensure that people will not be in close contact with one another.

  • You will be asked to handle your own personal belongings coats/bags and not to hand it to our therapists.

  • We ask that you fill in a short health questionnaire and consultation form on arrival.

  • We are unable to offer beverages unless served in a disposable cup and we are unable to offer any ‘common touch’ items in salon such as magazines and testers.

  • If you are interested in buying products, please ask a member of staff for help to avoid touching products.

  • Your therapist will be wearing PPE- this may seem strange but it is to protect both our clients and our staff. PPE will be changed regularly according to the Government and the World Health Organisation’s guidelines.

  • All clients will have single use items used on them where possible.

  • All clients are required to wear a mask when coming to the salon, if you need to purchase £1 will be added to your bill.

  • Clients will need to wash/sanitise their hands on entering the salon.

  • All equipment used in your appointment will have been cleaned/disinfected before your treatment.

  • Facial and massage therapies will be temporarily suspended whilst the 2 metre social distancing is in place.

  • All areas of the salon will have been cleaned before you arrive for your appointment- we are allowing additional time between appointments to ensure that each area of the salon is cleaned before our next client arrives.

  • We ask if you could pay either by contactless or card transaction to avoid cash transferring hands.

The changes you will encounter have not been taken lightly. These changes are with Health and Safety as our top priority and we are following the Government’s guidelines to ensure all health and safety standards are met.

If you have any questions and if you would like to book an appointment – please message us via our website, social media page or email us at enquiry@butterflybeautypreston.co.uk

Thank you, and we can’t wait to see you all soon
